StoneFly FP-101 Level Sensor

The StoneFly FP-101 level sensor uses a float and pulley system to measure the changing water level in a Stilling well. The FP-101 consists of a precision, wire-wound 10-turn potentiometer, a one-foot circumference float tape wheel, counterweight, float, and float tape. The FP-101 provides a linear voltage change over a height of 10’.

The FP-101 comes complete ready to install with sensor, float tape wheel, 10’ of tape, 2 tape clips, float and counter weight.

Float and Hanger

The 10″ pan float offer the excellent accuracy because of its size and stability. The float is weighted to allow it to float at the proper depth. The Plastic Float Hanger is used to secure the float to the end of the float tape.

RF310M – RF Modem

b

The RF310M Modem provides the communication interface between one of our dataloggers and a Maxon/Midland radio. The modem is typically powered by the 5 V power supply from the datalogger’s serial I/O port. When the modem is at a non-datalogger repeater site, it is powered by a PS100/A100 combination. Each RF310M contains dip switches that allow the user to address the modem with a number between 0 and 255.

The RF310M is compatible with the Maxon/Midland transceivers (see RF310 series) and the RF310B Base Station. Contact Campbell Scientific for information about interfacing new Maxon-based components into a system previously offered by Campbell Scientific.
